ORLANDO:
New Year's Eve is always a time to reflect on the past year - or past years. I think most would agree that 2016 was an interesting year. Hello President Drumpf. Good-bye Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. And Welcome to a campaign to protect Betty White from the remainder of 2016. Most are glad it's almost over and ready to place all remaining hope in humanity into the next twelve months.

After spending two years working in the medical field plus an additional two years in the academic boot camp that is a medical masters program, I'm ready for a change. This blog will check in at different points in the transition period. Points may or may not include dramatic reactions to: informing current employer of decision, the long tedious paperwork process of obtaining a license to practice in Oregon, the riveting process of applying for jobs, interviews, receiving job offers, figuring out where and where not to live, and finally escaping the sinking Florida peninsula.

Stay tuned.
